What is Earl Grey tea?

Earl Grey has become one of the most esteemed flavoured teas in Britain and is a firm Afternoon Tea favourite. It is renowned for its mixture of tea leaves with extracts of citrus fruit & bergamot. The legend ascribed the iconic blend to be originally created in the 1800s for Charles Grey, 2nd Earl Grey, in return for rescuing

the son of a Chinese mandarin.
